Technology Fee Projects
Since 2014, FIU Law Library received over $674,498.00 in Technology Fee funding to implement three unique technology projects. Additionally, our librarians authored and implemented cross-FIU Technology Fee projects totaling over $650,742.00. These funds were invested in:
- Screen sharing and collaboration technology benefitting FIU Law students in our study rooms.
- Digitization hardware and software to curate eCollections and provide open access to our faculty scholarship and Special Collections.
- Access to Lexis Digital Library ebooks enabling achievement of Florida's Affordability Counts mission.
- Law Library-based classroom and multi-purpose legal technology instructional space.
