Intellectual Property Certificate Requirements

  • Students must (a) earn at least 15 credits from the Intellectual Property course list, (b) take at least two courses from the Entrepreneurship course list, and (c) take the Intellectual Property survey course.
  • Students must earn a GPA of 2.7 over their law school career, as well as a GPA of 3.0 in their courses on the Intellectual Property course list.
  • Students must complete a seminar which requires a 25 page paper based on original research which may be used to fulfill the upper level writing requirement, or an independent study that includes a research paper on a topic related to Intellectual Property.
