The Prestigious Haitian Music Awards have awarded FIU Alumni, Frandley Julien The Legal Elite Award of the Year 2023. Frandley was born in Milot, Haiti, and migrated to the United States in 2006. He started his journey after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in English from FIU in the fall of 2011. As an undergraduate student, Frandley was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in English and won first place during FIU’s convocation essay contest. Before enrolling in the College of Law, Frandley’s passion for international law inspired him to write “Les Non-dits de l’Affaire Guy Philippe,” a book that analyzes the intersection between Haitian, international, and American laws. The book explains the process of the United States’ interference in Haitian politics and corruption. Frandley continued to be published several times by The Miami Herald, the Sun Sentinel, Jamaica Observer, and Haiti’s Le National on issues relating to Haiti. After enrolling in the College of Law in 2012, Frandley joined the trial team while working 50 hours weekly as a communication specialist for Carnival Cruise Line. Upon graduation, he was awarded for his outstanding contribution to the trial team. After his short stint as a prosecutor in Miami-Dade County, Frandley started his firm in 2019. The Law Offices of Frandley Julien is located in North Miami Beach and offers services in immigration, family law, and personal injury.
