FIU Law alumnus, Ryder Gaenz, had the unique opportunity to speak at the Fourth District Court of Appeal on October 4, 2023 for being one of the highest achievers on the Florida bar exam in July of 2023.  Ryder graduated Summa Cum Laude and salutatorian of the Spring 2023 College of Law class.

Ryder received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida Atlantic University in 2019 before pursuing a juris doctorate at FIU Law. “FIU Law maintains a truly unique atmosphere that encourages and prepares its students for success,” says Gaenz. During his time as a student, he served as president of the Federalist Society and editor of FIU Law Review.

After graduating, Ryder started a single-term year as a clerk for Judges Jeffrey Kuntz and Ed Artau at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal. “I could not be happier with my experience,” Ryder says as he merits FIU Law for the preparation for his success. “It is clear to me that I received an excellent legal education from FIU.”
