Professor Osei-Tutu kicked off the fall 2023 semester with an invitation to present at the Intellectual Property and Sustainable Living Conference at the Queen Mary University of London Intellectual Property Rights Institute. This international conference took place from September 14-15 in London, England.  Osei-Tutu presented her article titled “Commercial Appropriation of Cultural Identity: the Case for a Cultural Personality Right” on the “Sustainability and Fashion” panel, moderated by Professor Johanna Gibson. Osei-Tutu concluded last semester with an invitation to participate in a high-level small group seminar of national and international scholars on The Philosophical Foundations of Traditional Knowledge Protection at Harvard Law School on April 14, 2023.  On April 15, Professor Osei-Tutu moderated the “New Directions in IP Equity” panel at Race & IP’23: The Imperial Scholar Revisited conference.
