National law firm Hinshaw and Culbertson announced the expansion to the firm’s Consumer Financial Services team. FIU Law alumnus Ralph W. Confreda Jr., was named senior counsel of the Hinshaw branch in Fort Lauderdale. Ralph is an experienced trial lawyer with a clientele that consists of financial service companies in state and federal courts and real estate clients in complex consumer financial litigation. As a student, Ralph volunteered at the FIU College of Law Community Lawyering Clinic where he advocated for disabled individuals and assisted with administrative hearings. He also participated in a judicial externship where he served the Hon. Stacy D. Glick and the Hon. Robert N. Scola Jr. of the U.S District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ralph has rezoned properties, resolved code violations, disputes, evictions and more in Florida and the Bahamas. This alumni’s extensive experience adds notable profundity to the firm.
