On February 28, Professor Elizabeth Price Foley testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on the topic of the Equal Rights Amendment. Professor Foley discussed the constitutional amendment process and the legality of ratification deadlines and rescissions. With Professor Foley on the panel were Kathleen Sullivan, former Dean of Stanford Law School and current partner at Quinn Emmanuel; Jennifer Braceras, Director of Independent Women’s Law Center; Juliana Stratton, Lieutenant Governor of Illinois; and Thursday Williams, an ERA Coalition Board Member.
