Leydi and Yanina were the ABA Chicago Regional Negotiation Competition Co-Champions last November, which allowed them to move on to compete at the ABA National Negotiation Competition. In winning the Regional, Leydi and Yanina won three consecutive rounds. They continued their winning streak by winning both Preliminary Rounds, taking all 6 judges’ ballots, and advancing to the quarterfinals ranked number one our of the 22 teams in the final rounds. The quarterfinals featured teams from top negotiation competition schools such as Boston, Fordham, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Mercer, and Tulane.
