In 2011, Ms. Mattocks was academically dismissed from FIU Law, but with her perseverance, she re-applied and was admitted as an evening student three years later.
While attending evening classes at FIU Law, Ms. Mattocks worked at The Injury Firm during the day while taking classes at night. Additionally, she worked as a teaching assistant for LSV II in 2016. Four years after her return to FIU Law, she graduated cum laude and delivered a graduation speech on behalf of the evening students to her fellow graduates.
After graduation, Ms. Mattocks passed the Florida Bar Exam and continued to work at The Injury Firm where she focused on pre-suit personal injury cases. In 2020, she passed the Texas Bar Exam and is currently working at Warren Kalyan where she focuses on representing the multifamily real estate and hospitality industries.
