FIU Law continues to strengthen its partnership with law schools abroad and expand its international footprint by once again implementing a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Project with CICA (Centro Internacional de Conciliación y Arbitraje, affiliated to the Costa Rican American Chamber of Commerce); ULACIT and ULead. The COIL project is designed for students seeking to join the Team of FIU Law or CICA for the International Arbitration Moot Competition in Madrid, Spain (April 2022). This competition is particularly challenging because it involves very complex disputes with international sale of goods, anti-trust, construction, new technologies, energy and international commercial law elements; and all proceedings (written and oral) are conducted in Spanish (Moot Madrid).
This second edition of the COIL project between FIU Law and Costa Rican law schools will be launching during the final round of the ICC MOOT COSTA RICA 2021, this Friday Sep. 3 (7:00 PM San Jose, 9:00 PM EST).
