Professor Charles C. Jalloh spoke as part of the opening plenary panel of the International Law Weekend organized by the American Branch of the International Law Association celebrating the 75th anniversary of the United Nations on 24 October 2020. His remarks focused on the contributions of the UN to the development of the right of self-determination of all peoples.

At the University of Miami Law School, on November 5, 2020, Professor Jalloh presented as part of the faculty Legal Theory Workshop Series his recent book on The Legal Legacy of the Special Court for Sierra Leone published by Cambridge University Press in July 2020. The talk was followed by a robust discussion with the UM law faculty.

Lastly, Professor Jalloh gave two guest lectures on International Criminal Law and International Humanitarian Law on November 10 and 12, 2020 as part of the National University of Singapore’s Center for International Law e-Academy. This was part of an online training program for law students, young academics, diplomats and lawyers from the Asian region that want to advance their training on International Law.
