Congratulations to Cristina Rivera Correa ’09, Assistant School Board Attorney for Miami-Dade Public Schools, who was appointed to the Miami-Dade County Court. Ms. Correa is the first female FIU Law graduate to be appointed to the bench and the third graduate to become a judge. Ms. Correa is taking the old seat held by Circuit Court Judge Zachary Miller.
