On October 30, Patricia Vélez, director of the Library at the Universidad Externado de Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia, visited the FIU Law Library as part of the Library’s collaborative relationships with international libraries to exchange ideas, information and collections. Director Vélez met with FIU Law Library Assistant Director Marisol Floren-Romero and Interim Director Lisa Davis to tour the Law Library’s Special Collections and to discuss collection development activities that will benefit both academic institutions.
“The FIU Law Library is excited to embark on yet another Worlds Ahead academic endeavor that fosters international relationships and collaborative academic pursuits,” Interim Director Lisa Davis shared. “This new relationship will support the research process, information literacy programs and the international materials, collections and services, of both the Universidad Externado de Colombia and FIU.”
