The 62nd Annual Wedgwood International Seminar (WIS) will take place for the first time in Miami, Florida, from April 26th through April 29th, 2017.
As part of the seminar, participants will see The Theodore & Rosalind Spak Wedgwood Collection on the third Floor of the FIU College of Law Library, this Friday, April 28th, at 2:00PM. It will be an opportunity to honor the valuable contribution and legacy of Theodore and Rosalind Spak to FIU and The College of Law. Giving numerous donations and working with passion for the continued growth of FIU as member of the FIU Foundation Board, in which he served as director before being named Emeritus Director in 2010. This beautiful collection of the famous Josiah Wedgwood chronicles his contributions of innovative craftsmanship to the realm of ceramics. The various styles displayed in this exhibition serve as landmarks of 18th century western trends which Wedgwood executed with grace and elegance.
The Grand Reading Room and the near hallway area will be reserved for the Event.
