M.C. Mirow will speak on publishing and blogging on legal history at a conference of the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History in Berlin on May 26, 2016.  The conference is held to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Institute’s online legal history journal, forum historiae juris.  “Late last year I was invited to blog about my book on Latin American constitutions on the Legal History Blog.  One of the directors at Max Planck saw the blogs and asked me to talk about the experience in conjunction with its conference on publishing in legal history.  I am honored to represent FIU there,” said Mirow currently on sabbatical and a MacCormick Fellow at the University of Edinburgh.  Mirow is a member of the founding faculty of FIU Law and of the Florida bar.
