On Thursday, April 23, 2015, FIU Law recognized the ‘best of the best’ of the class of 2015 during its annual Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony. The ceremony acknowledges those third-year students who excel both in and out of the classroom. The following is a list of the awards and recipients.

ALI CLE Scholarship & Leadership Award: Presented to the graduate who has demonstrated outstanding scholarship and leadership. Daniel Horton

Faculty Recognition Award: Recognized by the Faculty, these graduates have demonstrated exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to the College of Law and to the community-at-large. Amber Kornreich and Vivian Acosta Sanchez

Outstanding Contribution to the Board of Advocates Award: Daniella Abratt, Tiffany Blackmon, Tyler Dupuy, Kelly Moras and Sarah Valdes.

Outstanding Oral Advocacy Skills Demonstrated in National and International Competitions: Daniela Abratt, Tiffany Blackmon, Ashley Hersutamto, Daniel Horton, Amber Kornreich, Barbara Miranda, Christopher Miranda, Kelly Moras, Daniel Rock, Camilo Rodriguez and Katrina Sacayanan.

Pro Bono Service Award: Awarded to the graduates who have demonstrated excellence in pro bono service with more than 130 hours of pro bono hours to the community.
