February-March 2019 Content Update
The Law Library Microform Consortium (LLMC) content updates.
A total of 509* titles have been added to the holdings of LLMC Digital for the months of February and March, 2019 (for more detail about this update, please follow the link and select “February” or “March:” http://www.llmc.com/recent.aspx):
LLMC added a large number of Anglo-American treatises and reference materials to its collections. These materials come from multiple sources. Digitize the remaining LLMC fiche and added the Encyclopedia of the Laws of England, 1897-1903. Also added other historical treatises (over a century old) covering subjects such as motor vehicles, historical Scottish criminal trials, and irrigation.
LLMC also added a large number of legal resources from Latin America during this period. Additional commercial, civil, and other codes are now online for countries such as Argentina, Uruguay, and Peru. These include a 1905 water use code from Mexico and an 1896 law on elections from Peru.
LLMC added numerous titles to its German collections, most specifically Prussia, but there are additions to other provinces and cities too.
As for Early State Records, additions to Virginia, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Georgia. These materials include numerous issues of the Newport Mercury, a Rhode Island newspaper with announcements, poems, and advice. Interestingly, the news coverage changes considerably from the beginning of run (published during the Seven Years War) to the end of the series which was published as tensions between the colonies and England increased after the passage of the Stamp Act.
Partnership with the Center for Research Libraries continues to contribute additional content. Added numerous volumes to Legislative Documents of the State of New York collection. Also, now have coverage starting from 1864 and extending through 1950.

In addition 3,821 volumes have been added to the LLMC Digital collection, which brings overall totals to the following:

LLMC continues its work with Google to add more records and briefs to LLMC Digital. In addition to the New York records and briefs, they are actively digitizing more California records and briefs in partnership with LA Law Library and 7th Circuit records and briefs in partnership with University of Illinois.
