The College of Law hosted Painting Constitutional Law: A Celebration of Xavier Cortada’s “May It Please the Court” on Thursday, February 16. The program honored Cortada’s painting series “May It Please the Court,” which has hung in the halls of Rafael Diaz-Balart Hall since 2011, and Painting Constitutional Law, a collection of essays edited by FIU Law Professors Matthew Mirow and Howard Wasserman. In addition to Prof. Mirow, Cortada and Prof. Jenny Carroll of the University of Alabama spoke at the program.
