In response to the need for current, expert analysis of developing issues affecting the legal and business environment, Bloomberg Law News has added a new Crypto channel. Crypto will provide topical coverage of cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, and NFTs (non-fungible tokens) such as digital art, music, and real estate in the metaverse, and will address tax and legal issues surrounding the sale of NFTs.

Guidance tailored for companies in financial services sub-industries are also available, including:

Dockets search results now include a federal class action lawsuits filter. Also, when downloading docket search results using the CSV Results option, top of page, new fields have been added for Nature of Suit, Cause of Action, and for state cases, Case Type.

Dockets FAQs section has been added to the Bloomberg Law Help Center. The FAQs address common but technical questions about our dockets coverage.

New

Chapter 12 from A to Z: A Guide to Bankruptcies of Family Farmers and Family Fishermen published by the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) has been added to our collection of Books & Treatises.

Updated

The biannual update to Matthew Finkin’s Privacy in Employment Law (June 2021-December 2021) includes coverage and analysis of more than 50 recently reported cases and 15 new statutes.

Labor Union Law and Regulation, published in partnership with the ABA’s Labor & Employment Law Section, has been revised and updated.
