Thomson Reuters introduces the new Civil Rights Legal Materials and News web page, which is now available at civilrights.westlaw.com.
This free web page includes Reuters news coverage and Westlaw legal content, including statutes and case law, and has been placed outside of the paywall.
The Westlaw content is divided into three major categories:
- Police Conduct including excessive force, failure to intervene, false arrest, and qualified immunity
- Unwarranted Criminal Prosecution including malicious prosecution and prosecutorial misconduct
- Right to Protest including freedom of speech and freedom of assembly
In addition, the web page also provides links to an overview of civil rights law and help finding a civil rights lawyer.
