From the publisher: Historia del pensamiento iusinternacionalista español del siglo XX, which translates to History of 20th century Spanish international thinking in English, begins a series of studies on the history of the historiography of international law in Spain. The Spanish international law doctrine has limited its historiographical interest – with few exceptions – to the examination of the internationalist genealogy of the School of Salamanca. Taken from the perspective of war and humanitarian law and, by extension, of human rights. Despite the shadows national-socialism, fascism, imperialism and colonialism throw on their legal traditions, the Spanish internationalist doctrine begins to recover its historiographic past.
