Alumna, and Shook, Hardy & Bacon Miami Associate, Chanel Rowe ’14 will join The Florida Bar’s Student Education and Admissions to the Bar Committee on July 1, 2016, for a three-year term.
The Student Education and Admissions to the Bar Committee is assessing how well law schools prepare their students for the practice of law and will formulate recommendations for improvements. The Committee also seeks to measure the success of minority scholarship programs.
Rowe, who focuses her practice on defending Fortune 500 companies in product liability actions related to pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, was selected to participate in the Florida Bar Leadership Academy 2015-2016 class, and she serves as co-chair of the Mentoring Committee of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers’ Miami-Dade Chapter. She also serves on Shook’s Diversity Recruitment Committee.
