On Friday, November 6, students from FIU Law’s Military Justice class toured the U.S. Coast Guard Base in Miami Beach. In addition to speaking with judge advocates and commanders about military justice, the students learned about Coast Guard operations and legal issues that arise in those operations. The students also got to go aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Clark, a fast response cutter that provides coastal security, as well as a law enforcement special purpose craft.
