On September 14, 2015, Professor Charles C. Jalloh was the invited expert on the Africa 54 program hosted by Vincent Makori for Voice of America TV in Washington. He discussed the significance of the International Criminal Court’s recent decision to accept prior recorded testimony of Prosecution witnesses who had recanted or were no longer willing to testify in a case involving Kenya’s Vice President William Ruto. Watch the segment here (episode runs from 8:10 to 12:45 minutes). Earlier in the week, for a separate program on the same network, he gave an interview on the resumption of the African Union’s crimes against humanity trial in Senegal of former Chadian President Hissene Habré.
