Victorino J. Tejera, one of FIU Law’s Visiting Researchers, has published an article in the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law about investment dispute settlements. His article is titled, “Unraveling ICSIC’s Denunciation: Understanding the Interaction between Articles 71 and 72 of the ISCID Convention.”

Tejera holds a bachelor of laws from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, a master of laws from Tulane Law School, a master’s degree in Private International and Comparative Law from Universidad Central de Venezuela, a master’s degree in International Dispute Settlement from the University of Geneva & Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.

While at FIU Law, Tejera will be researching United States law regarding state immunity from enforcement.
