Hannah Gorman was quoted in the Miami Herald article, After justices flip flop, some notorious Miami killer may be bound for Death Row again. She spoke to the impact of the case of Poole in which the Florida Supreme Court reversed almost all of its findings in Hurst v. State earlier this year. She referred to FIU’s research into first degree murders across the State, highlighting that one hundred lives will be impacted by the Florida Supreme Court’s in Bessman and Jackson (argued June 2020).
