Professor Gómez was one of the representatives of the Miami International Arbitration Society before the UNCITRAL-Group II, which members are drafting provisions on expedited proceedings in international commercial arbitration. MIAS has submitted substantive commentaries to the UNCITRAL draft and Prof. Gomez has been an active participant in the process.
