Prof. Louis Schulze presented his paper “Using Science to Build Better Learners” to the faculty of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. His paper argues that law schools can promote student success and bar passage by fostering self-regulated learning, metacognition, and other concepts supported by the science of learning.


Prof. Schulze serves as the Assistant Dean and Professor of Academic Support, directing the Academic Excellence Program at FIU Law. He joined FIU Law in 2014. His areas of scholarly focus are in law school academic support, and has published on FFERPA, criminal law, and educational psychology in legal education.
