On August 25th, Assistant Dean Louis Schulze presented his paper “Using Science to Build Better Learners: One School’s Successful Efforts to Raise its Bar Passage Rates in an Era of Decline” to the faculty of Quinnipiac Law. This paper, to be published by the FIU Law Review, argues that legal education should draw more heavily from the science of learning.


Prof. Schulze serves as the Assistant Dean and Professor of Academic Support, directing the Academic Excellence Program at FIU Law. He joined FIU Law in 2014. His areas of scholarly focus are in law school academic support, and has published on FFERPA, criminal law, and educational psychology in legal education.
