In what has now become an annual event since 2017 within the Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program at Florida International University’s College of Law (better known as a “Day With Florida’s 3rd DCA”), on November 12, 2024, Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal hosted a group of the 2025 LL.M. candidates. The 2025 LL.M. candidates, the largest class in the Program’s history, consists of a culturally diverse group of attorneys, licensed to practice law in nineteen (19) countries, including Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, China, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, France, Ghana, Honduras, India, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, the UK, and Venezuela.
The LL.M. candidates attended an oral argument session with Judges Norma S. Lindsey, Bronwyn C. Miller, and Kansas R. Gooden. Following the oral arguments, the Judges held a question-and-answer session in the courtroom, and afterwards, the Judges, Chief Justice Thomas Logue, and the LL.M. candidates attended a luncheon hosted by Associate Dean Manuel Gomez, and Adjunct Professor Rodolfo Pittaluga, Jr.
