M.C. Mirow gave talks on Florida legal history at two conferences last month. In La Rábida, Spain, at the Instituto Internacional de Historia del Derecho Indiano, he spoke on Florida’s transition from an English to a Spanish province in the eighteenth century. At the University of Messina, Italy, at an international seminar on constitutions, he spoke on the promulgation of the Constitution of Cádiz in Florida. The papers presented will be published.
