Congratulations to Jason Anon for being awarded the 2018 Florida Bar Labor & Employment Law Section Scholarship.
Jason Anon earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, from the Landon Undergraduate School of Business at Florida International University where he majored in Business Management and minored in Economics. Before law school, Jason worked for several years as a legal assistant at The Anon Law Firm, P.A. in Miami Lakes, Florida and as a licensed real estate sales associate focusing primarily on residential transactions.
Jason is currently a rising third-year law student at the Florida International University College of Law and serves as a senior staff member on the FIU Law Review, a member of the FIU College of Law Moot Court Team, and an intern with the FIU Law Community Lawyering Legal Aid Clinic. After his first year of law school, Jason worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable Jose E. Martinez of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. And during his second year of law school, Jason and his co-counsel wrote the runner-up best respondent brief in the 15th Annual FIU College of Law Intramural Moot Court Competition and advanced to the final round where they argued in front of United States Circuit Court of Appeals Judges Patricia A. Millett, Jill A. Pryor, and Robin S. Rosenbaum, ultimately finishing first overall. Jason has also placed onto the Dean’s List for each eligible semester and earned the CALI Book Award in Constitutional Law, Property, Legal Research & Writing II, Business Organizations, and Legal Research & Writing III.
He is currently interning as a summer law clerk with Jackson Lewis P.C. at the firm’s Miami office.
