Marisol Floren, Assistant Director, Library Services Foreign & International Law Librarian attended the meeting of the Latin American Studies Southeast Regional Libraries (LASER), hosted by the University of Miami (UM) and Florida International University (FIU) libraries. At UM, the meeting was held at the Cuban Heritage Collection conference room. Librarians toured the Kislak Center and the preservation lab. During the meeting Lisa Fish, Associate Dean for Collection Strategies, explained current projects and programs underway at UM. At FIU, librarians toured the Market Women of the Caribbean exhibit, and met with Dr. Mark Rosenberg, FIU President.
