Professor H. Scott Fingerhut was featured at the 2017 Broward County Bench & Bar Convention, delivering, “IT’S UP TO US (LAWYERS): How to Maintain (Retake?) the Factual High Ground in an Age of Literal Truthiness.”
Sponsored by the Broward County Bar Association, this year’s convention, held at the Broward Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, featured several litigation tracks throughout the day and Florida Supreme Court Justice C. Alan Lawson as the keynote speaker.
Professor Fingerhut is Assistant Director of the Trial Advocacy Program and in his 18th year at FIU. He teaches Trial Advocacy, Pretrial Practice, Criminal Procedure, and along with Founding Director of the Trial Advocacy Program Professor H.T. Smith, leads the College of Law’s Trial Team.
