On Thursday, December 3, the FIU Law Alumni Association will host its Fourth Annual Toy Drive for Kristi House. The event will be held from 6 – 9 p.m at Fado Irish Pub – 900 South Miami Avenue in Brickell. Admission to the event is either a $10 donation or an unwrapped toy. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and one cocktail is included.
“We are calling on all FIU Law alumni and boosters to come out and support this event,” FIU Law Alumni President Jeffrey Molinaro ’10 shared. “We hope that we can surpass last year’s giving in both gifts and toys. I can’t think of a better way to kick-off the holiday season!”
UPDATE: Former FIU Law Alumni Association President Robert Scavone Jr. ’12 has pledged to match the first $500 raised. “Kristi House does amazing work,” said Scavone Jr. “It is my pleasure to help.” If other alumni are interested in matching donations, contact Anthony rionda at arionda@fiu.edu.

The Orlowitz-Lee Children’s Advocacy Center opened in March 1999 with the help and support of the Department of Children and Families and the State Attorney’s Office. Following the national model, Kristi House operates the Children’s Advocacy Center responsible for all of Miami-Dade Country, and coordinates the seven partner agencies who handle the legal, medical and emotional needs of child victims of sexual abuse.
