Two former evening students have pledged their commitment to the Evening Scholarship Fund. Alumni Karim Batista ’13 and Andrew Zelman ’09 will each contribute $500 a year for five years towards the scholarship. Their support helps bring the total number of donors to 11 and the total amount pledged to $27,500. Other alumni include Seth Denison, Robert Foley, Carlos Lago, Gunnar Mandrisch, Leslie Marenco, Pam Pedlow, Robert Scavone Jr., Sanjeev Shah and Roberto Suarez.
The Evening Scholarship Fund allows FIU Law to award merit-based scholarships to evening students who work during law school and have at least five years post-undergraduate work experience.
