The Latin American & Caribbean Law Review (“LCLR”) at Florida International University College of Law (“FIU Law”) is dedicated to advancing legal scholarship on Latin America, the Caribbean (“the Region”) and their diasporas.
Through the publication of innovative legal scholarship, LCLR fosters rigorous analysis and meaningful discussion of the legal, political, and social issues affecting the Region and its communities.
Rooted in Miami, a city deeply connected to Latin America and the Caribbean, LCLR is proud to offer FIU Law a dedicated space for this vital scholarship.
LCLR is honored to soon present its inaugural issue, the product of the vision and labor by the students, faculty, and authors who believed in the importance of this work. Looking ahead, LCLR is thrilled to continue the work with its upcoming symposium in January, featuring Professor Jorge Esquirol, as the journal builds on this momentum to foster continued dialogue on the legal issues shaping Latin America, the Caribbean, and their diaspora.
