Since 2017, Florida International University's College of Law has hosted an annual event known as "A Day With Florida's 3rd DCA" as part of the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program. On October 13, 2026, the Third District Court of Appeal welcomed a group of LL.M. candidates from the class of 2027. This diverse group of attorneys, licensed to practice law in 21 countries, includes representatives from Albania, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Venezuela.

The LL.M. candidates attended an oral argument session presided by Chief Judge Edwin A. Scales, III, and Judges Thomas Logue and Alexander S. Bokor. Following the oral arguments, the Judges conducted a brief question-and-answer session in the courtroom and afterward joined the LL.M. candidates for a luncheon hosted by Adjunct Professor Rodolfo Pittaluga, Jr., where the question-and-answer session and conversation continued.
