FIU Law Rises in U.S. News Rankings, Excels in Graduate Success Metrics

“Our faculty prepare students to be effective, ethical advocates,” said Interim Dean Michelle Mason. “Professional outcomes are central to our mission, and we are intentional in how we structure professional development programming and align academic resources to ensure students graduate ready to practice.

The College’s rankings for employment success (No. 60 nationally) and first-time bar passage (No. 22 nationally) both placed it #1 among all law schools in Miami. Its acceptance rate also ranked in the 85th percentile nationally, reflecting its broad appeal to prospective students.

FIU Law’s overall rank improved to No. 77 nationally. Many of the College’s specialty programs also earned high national marks among public law schools, demonstrating the College’s rising national profile. The part-time program ranked No. 12 and the international law program No. 29. Additionally, the trial advocacy program ranked No. 35 and the environmental law program ranked No. 39.
