Earlier this month, Professors Barbara Ballan and Angela Hefti participated in the 2nd Annual Early Environmental Law Scholars (EELS) Conference at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, held November 7–8, 2025. The conference featured a panel with senior scholars on Navigating Academia in a Time of Change, works-in-progress presentations, a teaching workshop, and more.
Both professors presented their environmental law scholarship and received valuable feedback from peers in the field. Professor Hefti’s work examines international climate and human rights law, while Professor Ballan’s research explores the intersection of environmental regulation and corporate governance.
