On September 11, 2025, Professor Barbara Ballan presented her article draft titled Climate-Washing Litigation in the U.S.: From Puffery to Material Lies at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University’s Third Annual Sustainable Business Law Workshop, hosted by the Sustainable Business Law Hub and co-sponsored by Vanderbilt Law School’s Private Climate Governance Lab. Her presentation contributed to ongoing discussions on private environmental governance and sustainability.
On September 19, 2025, Prof. Ballan participated in Vermont Law and Graduate School’s Sixteenth Annual Colloquium on Environmental Scholarship. She shared and further developed this work and discussed the importance of sustainable business law with fellow environmental law scholars at this Colloquium.
