Professor Carpenter recently taught at two training events for defense counsel in capital murder cases. On Oct. 15-17, Prof. Carpenter was in Cleveland, OH, training public defenders from the Office of the Public Defender for Cuyahoga County, and on Oct. 23-24, he was in Austin, TX, training attorneys with the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
