On Saturday, February 8, 2025, members of FIU Law’s International Commercial Arbitration Team participated in the ILS Florida Bar Richard DeWitt Pre-Moot, an essential preparation event for the upcoming Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, which will take place in Vienna this April.
The team is led by co-coaches Marc and Megan Labgold (JD ’18) and Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies Manuel A. Gómez. FIU Law students Lauren Amos, Jackie Freitas, Daniela Gonzalez, Grace Highsmith, Sabrina Prado, and Jake Sanchez represented the team, refining their advocacy skills in preparation for one of the world’s most prestigious arbitration competitions.
