FIU Law Moot Court Team crowned as Regional Champion of the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition

On the weekend of February 23-25, FIU Law Students Kimisha Rowe and Alexia Luckert-Morales traveled to Nashville, Tennessee for the Southeastern Regional Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition, hosted by the National Black Law Students Association.

Coached by Professor Paul Moore, the students won First Place in the Regional competition and earned the Award for Best Respondent Brief. They will now advance to the national competition, taking place in Atlanta, Georgia from March 13th to the 15th.
