Congratulations to FIU Alumna Leah Stein (J.D.'23) who recently began her clerkship at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Before taking on this new role, Leah worked at Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton Law Firm for 2 years as an Associate Attorney, where she focused on complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy. She expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, saying "As I embark on this new chapter, I look forward to expanding my knowledge and skills as an attorney, gaining invaluable perspectives that a federal clerkship offers.”
Leah graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Juris Doctor in the spring of 2023. During her time as a student, she was awarded Best Orator Runner-Up in the 2021 FIU Law Moot Court Competition. That same year, she interned at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida where she now starts her clerkship.
