FIU College of Law alumnus Larry Lalla is one of seventeen attorneys bestowed the title of Senior Counsel in Trinidad. Trinidad and Tobago recognized the experienced attorneys with a professional and ethical reputation for excellence with the honor of ‘silk.’ During his time as a student at FIU Law, Mr. Lalla was a member of the Trial and Appellate teams, as he was named Best Orator during the intramural appellate competition. Before receiving a Juris Doctorate in 2010, he practiced law in Trinidad and Tobago for 27 years and served as a High Court Judge. Mr. Lalla has bar admissions in Guyana, New York, and Florida in addition to Trinidad and Tobago.
