Professor H. Scott Fingerhut was featured on NBC 6 South Florida to comment on the critical efforts of our Miami-Dade State Attorney and Public Defender during the current legislative session in Tallahassee to push for additional criminal justice funding to hire and retain prosecutors, public defenders, and their all-important support staff.
“This is our criminal justice system. It belongs to all of us,” said Professor Fingerhut, “and is our mutual responsibility. How a society treats its outcasts, the least among it, says perhaps the most about the type of society it is, and yearns to become.”
