Symplicity

Symplicity is the Ovadia CP&P Office’s online job posting database. Students and alumni have access to postings via the drop-down menu “Jobs & Resume Collection” and selecting “Search.” Make sure to click “All Jobs” once you have gotten to the page showing the listings to ensure that you are able to see all available job postings. Job posting results can also be filtered by clicking “More Filters” to customize the job search process with specified criteria.

Once you log in, be sure to view on your left menu “Resources” > “Document” Library” for guides on navigating Symplicity such as conducting a CSM job search, uploading documents, placing OCI bids and more.

Please note: In trying to meet application deadlines for job postings on Symplicity, please upload your required documents 48 hours in advance to ensure time for review and approval by one of the Ovadia CP&P Office advisers. Keep in mind that while Symplicity deadlines close at 11:59 P.M. on the date listed, our Office will only be able to review and approve documents during office hours.

Students

Step #1: Go to https://law-fiu-csm.symplicity.com/sso/students

Students will receive access to Symplicity’s job postings around November of their first year. An account has already been created for you.

Step #2: Your log-in information is as follows:

  • Username = The same as your FIU email (without the ‘@fiu.edu’)
  • Password = The same password you use to log into your FIU email

Step #3: If you do not know your FIU email account username or password, contact the helpdesk at 305.348.2284, or browse to FIU MyAccounts – https://myaccounts.fiu.edu.

Alumni

If you have retained your FIU email, then your username/password will remain the same as associated with Symplicity.

Step #1: Go to https://law-fiu-csm.symplicity.com/sso/students

Step #2: Your log-in information is as follows:

  • Username = The same as your FIU email (without the ‘@fiu.edu’)
  • Password = The same password you use to log into your FIU email

Step #3: If you do not know your FIU email account username or password, contact the helpdesk at 305.348.2284, or browse to FIU MyAccounts – https://myaccounts.fiu.edu.

 

*If you have lost access to your FIU email (until this happens – see steps above to continue logging into Symplicity the same as you have as a student!):

Step #1: In light of FIU’s new email policy (see AskIT Help – FIU’s Alumni Email Policy (service-now.com)), to FIU Law alumni who have lost access to their FIU email accounts, when you would like to log into Symplicity, please send an email to jciminer@fiu.edu and in the body of the email include the following information:
  • Full name
  • Year of graduation
  • Former FIU email address
  • The email address you would like to use for your Symplicity account going forward
Step #2: You will then receive an email generated from the Symplicity system that will allow you to set a new password.
Step #3: Once you have set your password, going forward to access Symplicity, go to:
