Biography
Kristen Dobson is General Counsel and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for the Florida Hospital Association, a not-for-profit trade association that advocates on behalf of hospitals at the state and federal levels on a range of issues affecting Florida hospitals. Prior to that, Professor Dobson worked at a midsize boutique law firm where she advised hospitals and other health care providers on health care regulatory and reimbursement issues. Before that, Professor Dobson clerked at the Florida Supreme Court and the Fourth District Court of Appeal, where she reviewed civil, criminal, and death penalty appeals.
Kristen obtained both her juris doctor and undergraduate degrees from the Florida State University. She resides in Tallahassee with her husband and two bad cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing pickleball, and spending time on the water.
