Danilo Castillo is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analyses, fiscal reporting, accounting, budgeting, auditing, and internal controls for the College of Law, including managing and controlling all Human Resources functions at the college for both academic and non-academic employees.
Mr. Castillo is a Finance and Business executive with more than 18 years of experience in management, operations, finance, budgeting, and accounting in private, public, and university settings. He is the Vice President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of South Florida, a member of NACUBO- National Association of College and University Business Officers (University CFOs), recipient of the NACUBO National Rising Star Award, and a committee member of the NACUBO LGBTQ Leaders Advisory Group.
Mr. Castillo is pursuing his Ph.D. in Public Affairs and Public Finance at Florida International University, focusing his research on public finance, performance measures in higher education, and related fields. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Accounting from Florida International University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
