Danilo Castillo is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analyses, fiscal reporting, accounting, budgeting, auditing, and internal controls for the College of Law; including managing and controlling all Human Resource functions at the college for both academic and non-academic employees.
Mr. Castillo is a Finance and Business executive with more than 16 years of experience in management, operations, finance, budget and accounting in private, public, and university settings. He is a Board Member and the VP of Engagement of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of South Florida; and committee member of their “HBS Community Partners” pro-bono consulting program and “HBS Alumni Angels” investor group. He is also a member of NACUBO- National Association of College and University Business Officers (University CFO’s), recipient of their National Rising Star Award which recognizes a finance executive with CFO potential, and a committee member of the NACUBO LGBTQ Leaders Advisory Group. In addition, Mr. Castillo was accepted in May 2021 to the NACUBO Emerging Leaders Program: a comprehensive leadership development program for finance and business executives from NACUBO member colleges and universities, to develop them for senior leadership positions at NACUBO member colleges and universities.
